FAIRFIELD, Conn.— Entering his 13th season, Head Coach
Anthony Latina has announced the non-conference schedule for the 2025-26 campaign. The Pioneers will have 11 non-conference games, three of which will be at home in the William H. Pitt Center.
The non-conference slate consists of opponents from the Big East, Big 10, Ivy League, ASUN, Patriot League, A-10, America East, CAA, and NEC.
Sacred Heart opens the season at home on Tuesday, Nov. 4, against the United States Merchant Marine Academy.
The Pioneers will participate in the Villanova MTE, which begins on Nov. 7 at Duquesne. The second game of the tournament will be at Villanova on Nov. 11 and will conclude with a road game at Queens University of Charlotte on Nov. 15.
SHU will return home to take on Holy Cross on Nov. 21, before embarking on four straight road games at Central Connecticut State, Penn State, NJIT, and UMass Lowell.
The Pioneers will play their last non-conference home game on Dec. 19 against Dartmouth in the Pitt Center. Non-conference play will conclude on the road on Dec. 22 at Towson.
"We feel like we have once again put together an extremely competitive non-conference schedule," said Latina. "We are playing teams from a variety of rival leagues, such as the Ivy, Patriot, America East, and Atlantic 10. We have also further challenged ourselves by scheduling teams from the Big East and the Big 10. Our non-conference schedule will prepare us for a competitive conference season with our second year in the MAAC."
