MONTGOMERY, N.Y. – The Sacred Heart University women's cross country team turned in a solid team performance on Saturday morning, placing sixth out of 16 teams at the Manhattan University Fall Invitational.
Graduate student
Grace Sousa led the way for Sacred Heart, delivering a great performance with a sixth-place finish.
Grace Del Giorno also had a strong showing. Del Giorno earned a top-25 finish after finishing 23
rd.
Adriana Franzese,
Gabriella DeVito,
Ryann Walsh,
Anna King, and
Lucy Connell all contributed to the team score, with each finishing inside the top 85 to help secure the Pioneers' top-half placement.

- Grace Sousa earns her second top-10 finish of the season, after just two races.
