FAIRFIELD, Conn. – It was quite literally all Pioneers on Saturday, as the Sacred Heart University women's soccer team pounced on Manhattan to the tune of a 4-0 win in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) play at Park Ave. Field.

How it Happened:
The Pioneers came out firing in the opening 45 minutes, recording 10 of their 19 total shots in the first half.
Shea Kelleher opened the scoring in the 15th minute, finding the back of the net off a
Morgan Bovardi assist. Just six minutes later, Bovardi doubled the lead with a goal of her own in the 21st minute assisted by
Lyndsey Laperle.
In the second half, Manhattan came out aggressive, peppering the junior keeper
Kyran Thievon with shots. Despite being out shot in the half, Thievon stood tall, showcasing her phenomenal goalkeeping skills to secure another clean sheet on the season.
The Pioneers' offense wasn't done yet. Kelleher and Bovardi each struck again, with Kelleher scoring in the 69th minute off a
Lindsay McShea assist and Bovardi adding her second of the day in the 76th minute off a feed from
Rylee McGee.
