MILFORD, CONN- The Sacred Heart Women's Swimming and Diving hosted its annual Pioneer Pentathon/ Red and White Intersquad. Team Red defeated Team White by a score of 266 to 226.

Individual winners included Maggie Holland of Team White, who won the 100 Breast event, and Sophia Velleco of Team Red, who won the 100 free and broke the Pentathlon Record for the 200 free as well as Sophie Tonello of Team Red winning the 100 Fly.

Maddie Goret won the 100 Back and the 200 IM where she broke both pentathlon records. Another pentathlon record-breaker was diver Ryleigh Mahoney, who broke the 1m diving record. 

The Pios are back in action on October 3 at 6:00 pm when they open travel to Fairfield University to take part in the Fairfield Invite.
