FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Sacred Heart University women's lacrosse team has officially unveiled its 2026 schedule, setting the stage for a high-energy season packed with a challenging non-conference lineup and a full slate of Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) battles.
Sacred Heart University will compete in a 15-game spring schedule during the 2026 season, featuring five home contests at Campus Field and 10 road games. Eight of the Pioneers' matchups will come against MAAC opponents.
The 2026 campaign opens on the road as Sacred Heart travels to Bryant on February 7. One week later, the Pioneers will make their home debut, welcoming Columbia to Campus Field on February 14.
The early portion of the schedule includes a pair of Northeast road games at New Haven (Feb. 18) and New Hampshire (Feb. 27), before the team heads south for spring break. During the trip, Sacred Heart will face new opponents, Coastal Carolina (Mar. 4) and Gardner-Webb (Mar. 7), over a four-day stretch, then make a quick stop in New Jersey for a midweek matchup with Monmouth on March 11.
MAAC play begins on Saturday, March 21, with the Pioneers opening conference action on the road at Iona. Sacred Heart will then return home for consecutive Campus Field showdowns against cross-town rival Fairfield (Mar. 25) and Merrimack (Mar. 28).
The Pioneers continue their conference road stretch with visits to Manhattan on April 1, Siena on April 4, and Rider on April 11. Sacred Heart will also host Canisius on April 8 before closing the regular season at home on April 18 against Quinnipiac, a rematch of last season's MAAC Tournament opening-round contest.
The MAAC Tournament will begin with first-round games on Sunday, April 26, followed by the semifinals on Friday, May 1, and the championship game on Sunday, May 3.
