EDISON, N.J. — After leading the Sacred Heart University men's basketball team to consecutive road victories,
Anquan Hill was named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Player of the Week, announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Hill averaged 24.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.0 blocks, 1.0 assist and 1.0 steal per game. He posted back-to-back 20-plus-point performances while shooting 58.3 % (14-of-24) from the field, 55.6 % (5-of-9) from three-point range, and 88.2 % (15-of-17) from the free throw line.
A redshirt senior, Hill missed six games due to injury but has scored in double figures in all four contests since returning, including 20-plus points in three of his last four games.
Sacred Heart returns to the Pitt Center on Thursday, Jan. 22, hosting Canisius at 7 p.m.
