The First-Year earns her sixth MAAC award of the year
EDISON, N.J. - Ryleigh Mahoney of the Sacred Heart University Women's Swimming and Diving Team has earned the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Rookie of the Week award for her performance in the team's past meet.
Mahoney had a great week against Fairfield, University of.Bridgeport, and Holy Cross. She won both the 1-meter (273.83) and 3-meter (315.98) events on both days. All four of her scores were over the NCAA qualifying zone standard. Her scores on the 3-meter board were over 300 points both times. At Holy Cross, Mahoney also broke the pool record in the 3m.
