
Equestrian Earns Reserve High Point Team Honors at LIU IHSA Show

Harley Jimenez named High Point Rider
BROOKVILLE, N.Y. — The Sacred Heart University equestrian team delivered an impressive performance at the IHSA Show hosted by LIU, earning Reserve High Point Team honors with a total of 47 points, just behind host, Long Island University.

The Pioneers were led by a series of first-place finishes across both Fences and Flat competition, highlighting the team's depth and consistency.
In Open Fences, senior Kylie Hwalek claimed first place in Section A, while junior Reagan Waggoner secured a second-place finish in Section C. Sacred Heart continued to shine in Intermediate Fences, with sophomore Sydney Woychuk earning first place in Section B and junior Norah Jackson adding a third-place finish in Section A.
The Pioneers dominated Limit Fences, sweeping all three sections. Senior Harley Jimenez, sophomore Kallie Ramistella, and senior Gianna Carducci each captured first-place honors in their respective sections.
On the Flat, Sacred Heart continued its strong showing. Hwalek completed a standout day with a first-place finish in Open Flat Section A, while senior Carina Muratore took first in Section B. In Intermediate Flat, senior Kayla DeStephanis earned first place in Section B and senior Emily Belies added a second-place finish in Section C.
The team maintained momentum in Limit Flat, as junior Norah Jackson and senior Harley Jimenez each secured first-place finishes in Sections A and B, respectively, while senior Sophia Poling placed second in Section C.
Sacred Heart also found success in Novice Flat, with freshman Sophie DiGregorio and senior Morgan McCrave each earning first-place finishes in their sections. In Introductory Flat, freshman Lindsay closed out the day with a first-place finish in Section A.
