Kylie Hwalek earns MOP honors as Sacred Heart falls to Dartmouth, 6-3
CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Sacred Heart University equestrian team fell short in the ECAC semifinal to #1 Dartmouth by a score of 6-3.

The opening half saw the Big Green take an early 3-1 lead over the Pioneers. Reagan Waggoner highlighted the effort in fences, delivering a strong ride on Jockamo to defeat Lucinda Exner head-to-head, 80.5-64.5.
On the flat, Sacred Heart battled in a tightly contested event, falling just short, 3-2. Carina Muratore earned a point for the Pioneers with a strong ride on Danny, posting a 76.5—two points ahead of her opponent—while
Kylie Hwalek delivered one of the top performances of the day with an 83 to secure another point.
Hwalek was named MOP of the semifinal on the flat for her standout ride on Baldwin.
Overall, Sacred Heart totaled 746.50 points to Dartmouth's 783.50, with multiple riders delivering competitive scores against elite competition.
