
Wood Tabbed CSC Academic All-District

Fairfield, Conn. – Senior guard Amelia Wood closed out her collegiate career in the top-10 in numerous categories on the court while off the court, the Wynantskill, N.Y. native secured her second College Sports Communicators Academic All-District distinction as announced by the organization.
To be eligible, a student-athlete must obtain a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher and have played in a minimum of 90 percent of the team's games while meeting high athletic standards. In addition to earning the All-District honor, Wood is one of 99 finalists for All-America honors with first-, second- a third-team accolades being announced on April 14.
A second-team All-MAAC honoree, Wood closed out her senior campaign leading the Pioneers from the floor with an average of 12.9 points per game while she was second in rebounding at 6.5 rebounds per game. Additionally, she led the Pioneers with 65 assists, 65 steals and 32 blocks.
The two-time CSC Academic All-District honoree, Wood closed out her career 14th all-time in scoring (1,278 points), fourth all-time in steals (205), fifth all-time in three-point field goals (175) and eighth all-time in free throw percentage (76.3%).
