Mandic and Beranek Earn All-EIVA Honors

FAIRFIELD, CONN. — Aleksa Mandic and Petr Beranek of the Sacred Heart University Men's Volleyball team earned All-EIVA Honors for the first time in their careers.
Manidc earned All-EIVA Second Team honors after leading Sacred Heart with 283 kills (3.45/set) across 82 sets, posting a .262 hitting percentage. He added 45 service aces (0.55/set), 104 digs (1.27/set), and 21 total blocks while totaling 339.0 points (4.13/set).
Beranek was named an All-EIVA Honorable Mention after recording 195 kills (2.95/set) in 66 sets with a .254 hitting percentage. He contributed 16 service aces, 92 digs (1.39/set), and 25 total blocks, finishing with 227.5 points (3.45/set).
The Pioneers will face the #4 seed Golden Eagles of the University of Charleston later today at 7:00 PM at Penn State University's Rec Hall.
