
Pios Extend Streak with 24th Straight CSCAA Scholar All-America Team Honor

FULL CSCAA Scholar All-America Team Release
Fairfield, Conn. – Extending its streak to 24 straight semesters, the Sacred Heart University women's swimming and diving team was recognized as a College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team presented by Fitter & Faster Swim Camps.
Overall, the CSCAA Scholar All-America program honored 714 teams from 418 institutions for outstanding academic achievement during the spring semester. All Combined, the 714 teams represent 16,680 student-athletes across all collegiate divisions. To be selected, teams are required to achieve a team GPA of 3.00 or higher.
This past spring semester, the Pioneers 27-member team combined for a 3.68 cumulative GPA under the leadership of 12th year head coach John Spadafina. In the pool, the Pios posted a fourth place finish at the 2026 Metro Conference Championships while first year Ryleigh Mahoney and sophomore Sinclair Yadao represented SHU at the NCAA Diving Zone Championships.
