Fairfield, Conn. – Senior Associate Director of Athletics Greg Zullo was recently selected as one of eight ambassadors for the Collegiate Event and Facility Management Association (CEFMA) for the 2026-27 membership year. CEFMA ambassadors play a vital role in supporting CEFMA's mission to recruit, engage and retain a diverse membership within their respective divisions.
"I am honored to be chosen as a CEFMA Ambassador," said Zullo. "The opportunity to serve among the leadership of CEFMA allows for exponential career growth which is essential in our profession. I look forward to working with and for my colleagues across the membership over the next two years."
One of two Division I FCS representatives, Zullo serves as the Senior Associate Athletics Director for Internal Operates at SHU where he oversees internal operations including team travel, facility scheduling, game contracts, home game management and Martire Family Arena rentals. In addition, he serves as the Sport Administrator for the men's soccer and baseball teams.
Zullo joined the Pioneers staff in January 2022 as an assistant director before being promoted to associate director in July 2023. This past summer, he advanced to the role of senior associate director. A Connecticut native, Zullo came to Sacred Heart after beginning his professional career at Yale. He is a graduate of Southern Connecticut State University, where he was a member of the baseball team.
CEFMA ambassadors are asked to serve a two-year term which may be extended upon mutual agreement. Ambassadors serve as active members of the CEFMA's Membership committee and assist in identifying and recruiting potential members and member institutions along with maintaining a level of engagement among the membership and promoting leadership, award and grant opportunities.
