David Jollon

Jollon brings 15 years of coaching experience to the Pioneers. He joins the team after eight seasons (2014-22) as an assistant coach at Fairfield. In 2022, the Stags won their first MAAC Championship and made their first NCAA tournament appearance in 20+ years. Jollon assisted in the 2017 recruiting class, which was ranked 52nd in the country. He was responsible for coaching the post players and five of them went on to receive conference honors.
 
Prior to Fairfield, Jollon served as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Molloy College (2013-2015). In 2014, the Lions made it to their first playoff appearance in three years. Jollen started his college coaching career as head coach at Dean College (2006-2013) where he became the all-time winningest coach with a .610 overall winning percentage. He also coached 12 All-region players and one preseason All-American.
 
Jollon graduated from Thomas Edison College with his Bachelor's in Liberal Arts in 2011. He is currently pursuing his Master's in Sports Management at Southern Connecticut State.
 
Jollon will be instrumental in the implementation and application of the offensive and defensive efforts and serve as the lead academic liasion for the program. His other responsibilities will include recruiting, practice planning, player development and opponent scouting.
