Daniel Navarrete

Daniel Navarrete enters his first year as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Sacred Heart University. His primary sport assignments include men’s wrestling, football (assistant), and men’s track and field (sprinters).

Navarrete’s other responsibilities include serving as a preceptor for athletic training students and assisting with daily operations within the athletic training room. He is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and maintains a Connecticut state athletic training license. Navarrete has been a BOC certified Athletic Trainer since 2023. 

Prior to Sacred Heart, Navarrete spent two years at Central Connecticut State University as the primary athletic trainer for men’s soccer and softball. He earned both his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in Athletic Training from Central Connecticut State University.

Daniel, who was born in Ecuador and came to the U.S. at the age of six, is fluent in Spanish. He currently resides in Connecticut with his golden doodle, Benji.
