Hanna Lloyd was welcomed as the Assistant Coach of the Equestrian program in September 2023.
Lloyd joins the staff after being a member of the equestrian program during her undergraduate years. Lloyd competed in both IHSA and NCEA during her time at SHU, earning fifth place at the 2023 IHSA National Finals in Open Flat as part of SHU’s eighth-place team finish. During the same season, Lloyd helped SHU to a second-place finish at the IHSA Zone I Championship while also competing at the ECAC Conference Finals and NCEA Nationals in Ocala, Fla.
Lloyd has competed as a junior, amateur and professional rider for top trainers in New York and Florida. Her riding achievements include top ribbons at the Marshall and Sterling Finals, USHJA Zone 2 Finals and National PHA Finals. Lloyd also placed in the top-25 at the Capital Challenge Horse Show in USHJA Jumping Seat Medal Flat Phase and had a top-five overall finish at the Junior Hunter Finals.
Lloyd is a 2023 graduate of SHU, with a degree in finance and management.
