TJ Stuart

TJ Stuart was named Sacred Heart’s new Assistant Director for Athletic Advancement late in February 2025.
 
Stuart joined Sacred Heart University after serving as the Assistant Director for Athletics Development at Mercer University located in Macon, GA. At Mercer, Stuart assisted in a wide variety of areas, including spearheading numerous athletics annual fund initiatives, fundraising for the renovation of the Women’s Soccer Locker Room, managing departmental events, reunions, meetings, and premium spaces on gamedays. Stuart also helped in overseeing digital campaigns and solicitations, as well as working directly with coaches and athletic administrators to assist in their fundraising efforts.
 
Prior to Mercer, Stuart worked at Yale University as an Athletics Community Engagement Coordinator where he assisted in day-to-day marketing operations, community group outreach and engagement, as well as constructing gameday operation plans.
 
TJ is also a former student-athlete at the Division-I level, having played baseball for Manhattan College and Florida Atlantic University. While pitching at Manhattan, TJ was a two-time captain, set a program record for saves in a single season (10), and was twice selected to the All-MAAC Second Team. In 2019, Stuart was named a Collegiate Baseball Newspaper’s Pre-Season All-American Third Team Relief Pitcher.
 
Away from the diamond, the Milford, Conn., native was selected as the National Division I SAAC Representative for the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference and received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
