NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. (AP) - Rudy Arcara scored on a 2-yard run in overtime as Iona beat Sacred Heart 38-31 on Saturday.
Billy Brieden threw three touchdown passes, two to Dennis Calacione, and finished 16-for-34 for 323 yards for Gaels (4-4).
Calacione, whose 34-yard TD catch tied it in the fourth quarter, had eight catches for 181 yards.
Nat Modica, who scored on an 88-yard run, was Iona's leading rusher with 181 on 19 carries.
Jason Bonadies had touchdowns on runs of 1, 2 and 9 yards for the Pioneers (6-2) and finished with 119 yards on 19 attempts.
