Softball Loses to Bethune-Cookman

ORLANDO, FL - Freshman shortstop Amber Jackson had a pair of triples, a homer and five RBI while sophomore pitcher Lauren McCoy pitched five shutout innings to lead Bethune-Cookman to a 9-0 win over Sacred Heart University on Wednesday afternoon.
The Wildcats, now 14-12, jumped on Pioneer starter Michele Walker for three runs in the first inning and five more in the second. Jackson drove home three in the second with a bases-clearing triple.
Jackson completed her perfect afternoon with a solo homer in the fourth inning.
