Softball Hosts Clinic With Local Little League

The Sacred Heart University softball team recently held a clinic for players from Trumbull Little League. The camp featured 80 girls between the ages of 7 and 14 working with the Pioneer players and coaching staff.
The participants from the Trumbull Little League will return to Pioneer Park on October 1st to attend a fall match-up with American International College. After the game SHU student-athletes will speak with the young softball players.
Co-Head coach Pam London commented on the success of the clinic, "It was a great experience for our players to share their knowledge and love of the game with the local community. It was a pleasure to host the Trumbull Little League and we look forward to working with them again in the future."
