Men's Hockey Downed 2-0 at Canisius

(Buffalo, NY) – The Sacred Heart Men's Hockey team lost 2-0 Saturday afternoon on the road against the Canisius Golden Griffins.
Scoreless through two periods, Torrey Lindsay scored the only goal Canisius needed on the power play 2:21 into the third. Braeden Rigney and Duncan McKellar set up the game-winner. Scott Moser put the game away with an empty-net goal with 25 seconds remaining, assisted by Ben Danford and Rigney.
Steven Legatto (Kelowna, BC) made 38 saves for the Pioneers, as Canisius outshot SHU 40-28 for the game.
SHU takes on Canisius again Sunday afternoon at the Buffalo State Sports Arena at 3:05 p.m.
