Pioneer Softball Makes Strides Against Breast Cancer

Fairfield, Conn.—The Sacred Heart Softball Team completed the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk at Sherwood Island State Park in Westport, Conn. this past Sunday. The walk raised over $316,000 for the American Cancer Society thanks to its over 6,000 participants.

"It's truly inspiring to see our softball team continue the fight against Breast Cancer," said Co-Head Coach Bippy Luckie. "As a survivor, this cause will always be near and dear to my heart. I am grateful everyday to be able to be part of such a special group of women."
