The Sacred Heart Softball lost both games Monday morning in Day 2 of the Rebel Games in Kissimme, Fl, falling to Tennessee Martin 1-0, and Penn 5-1
Nicole Sidor (West Vancouver, BC) pitched a complete game against Tennessee Martin striking out six and walking three.
In the second game, against Penn, Kacie Wentworth (Canton, N.Y.) had the hot bat, connecting for three hits and scoring the Pioneers' only run. Taylor Lane (Lisbon, Conn.) got the start in the circle against the Quakers. The junior, who put on a show yesterday, gave up eight hits and three earned runs over 2 1/3 innings. Adrianna Mallory (Pine Bush, N.Y.) came in in relief, tossing three inning. She gave up two hits while picking up one K.
Tomorrow, Sacred Heart faces Mercy at 9:00 a.m. and Holy Cross at 1:00 p.m.
