Results

The Sacred Heart University swim team opened the 2015-16 campaign with its first home meet since 2008.  The Pioneers fell to Northeast Conference foe LIU Brooklyn 180-79.

The Distance Events

Nicole Suave (5:39.26) and Kaylyn Cuozzo (5:56.20) touched second and third in the 500

Suave was also third in the 1,000 free, in a time of 11:38.68

The Strokes

Olivia Decas touched second in the 100 back in a time of 1:02.49

Jessica Poole was second in the 100 breast, finishing at 1:11.57

Renee Russo finished second in the 200 backstroke in a time of  2:18.71

Poole placed third in the 200 breaststroke in a time of 2:36.44

Sprint Freestyle

Jillian Crosby swam to a second place finish in both the 100 (55:51) and 200 (2:02.61)

Caleigh Dion was third in both the 100 (56:01) and 200 (2:05.35) and fourth in the 50 (27:37)
