Jessica Mannetti Adds Dani Durjan to Women's Basketball Class of 2019

FAIRFIELD, CONN. (April 28, 2015)—Sacred Heart Head Coach Jessica Mannetti announced the addition of Dani Durjan to women's basketball Class of 2019 Tuesday morning. The Montgomery Village, Md. native led Watkins High School a Division Championship in 2015 and was named a Montgomery County All-Star, CKA All-Star and received All-Gazette Honorable Mention that season.
"I am thrilled to welcome Dani to our women's basketball family," said Mannetti. "She was a hidden gem we discovered late in the recruiting process, and will add depth at the guard position for the 2015-16 season. In addition to being a young lady of character, Dani is a dynamic scorer who can push tempo and play in the full court. She will be a valuable component in our offensive system, and I'm excited to coach her for the next four years."
A four-year Team Captain, Durjan eclipsed the 1,200 career-point milestone while averaging 21 points, five assists and five rebounds per game.
In addition to earning three varsity letters as a point and shooting guard, she also lettered three years in softball while being a member of the Key Club, Debate Team and Sisters in Success.
