
SHU Rugby Blanked by Notre Dame College in Inaugural Home Game

FAIRFIELD, CONN. (September 12, 2015)—The Sacred Heart women's rugby team was shutout by the defending NCAA Division II National Champion Notre Dame College 88-0 in the program's inaugural home game on Saturday.
The Pioneers return to Campus Field next Saturday, Sept. 19 to host AIC at noon.
First Half
- The Falcons jumped out to a 38-0 lead in the first half spreading out the offense with five different players scoring six tries.
- Katie Klamencic scored on four of six conversion kicks
Second Half
- NDC tacked on 40 points to their total in the second half on eight tries, five conversion kicks and nine of their 13 ROTs
