Women's Rugby Downed by Molloy 35-12

SEAFORD, NY. (October 15, 2016) - The Sacred Heart Women's rugby team dropped a match to the Molloy Lions when they traveled to Cedar Creek Park on Saturday October 15.
Sacred Heart drew first blood in the match, logging back-to-back tries from Emily Mignogni and Charlotte Tallman. Kaylee Hale would go 1-for-2 on conversion kicks. Molloy would quickly take back control of the game, scoring their first try with 23:25 remaining. They would collect two more tries before the end of the half, with the Lions' Elizabeth Kaminsky going 3-for-3 on conversion kicks, bringing the score to 21 to 12 in Molly's favor.
Molloy would score two consecutive tries in the second half to bring the score to 35 to 12.
Women's rugby will head to Brunswick, Maine for a match against Bowdoin College on Saturday October 22nd at 11:00 a.m.
