Rugby Drops Fall Regular Season to Notre Dame College

SOUTH EUCLID, OHIO (October 29, 2016)—The Sacred Heart women's rugby team was shutout by Notre Dame College in a tripleheader Saturday afternoon at Normandy Field. The teams battled through three 14-minute games with the Falcons coming out on top all three times.
The Falcons jumped out to a 28-0 lead by halftime with three tries and three good conversion kicks. SHU held NDC to two tries in the second half, both with good conversion kicks, but could not get its own offense going to ultimately fall 40-0.
NDC clinched the latter two games in shutout fashion as well, 40-0 and 34-0.
