The Sacred Heart Pioneers are now 16-7 and 9-1 in the NEC after defeating Saint Francis U today in three straight sets. The Pioneers were led by Sophomore Makayla Dole who continues to show her dominance on the court.  

First SET- The Pioneers jumped to an early lead going on a 8 point run to to start the set. Senior Sarah Krufka sealed the first set for the Pioneers after back to back kills to give the Pioneers the win 25-13.

Second SET- The Second set was the closest the Red Flashes would come to the Pioneers as they held the match to 9-7 after a Pioneer attack error. Senior Ana Gonzalez added another service ace to her resume. She now is tied for the most Career Service Aces in Sacred Heart history. The Pioneers went on the win the set 25-19.

Third SET-Similar to the first set the Pioneers managed to go on a 7 point run to start the match. The match ended the same as the first set as the Pioneers wasted no time in their 25-13 sweep of the Red Flashes of Saint Francis U.

Sacred Heart stays on the Road tomorrow as they take on Robert Morris.
