SHU Volleyball start season with a 3-0 sweep vs Delaware State

COLLEGE PARK, MARYLAND- The Sacred Heart volleyball team opened its 2016 campaign with a 3-o sweep versus the Delaware St Hornets kicking off the first day of the Maryland invite.
Sacred Heart was lead by senior and returning NEC player of the year Sarah Krufka who had a kill percentage of .462 and 15 kills. Krufka also lead the team in points with 17.5. Ana Gonzalez led the team in digs with a total of 15 of the team total 37. Makayla Dole also had a strong performance with 8 kills and 4 digs.
SHU volleyball looks to keeping rolling tomorrow versus Eastern Michigan University at 1:00 PM and the tournament hosts University of Maryland at 7:00 PM.
