Box Score BROOKLYN, N.Y. - The Sacred Heart University women's volleyball team advanced to the NEC Tournament Finals for the second time in three years with a sweep over top-seeded LIU Brooklyn in the NEC Tournament Semifinals on Friday afternoon.
Freshman Alix Polk had a game-high 14 kills to lead the Pioneers, who hit .226 for the match as a team. Sarah Ciszek paced the Pioneers with 40 assists and added 10 kills for the double-double.
The Pioneers return to action Saturday, Nov. 7, at 3 p.m., when they take on the winner of the semifinal match between Bryant and Central Connecticut in the NEC Tournament Finals.
