FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Sacred Heart football team is set to head to upstate New York for its third consecutive road game to take on Cornell on Saturday afternoon. SHU is coming off a dominant win last weekend in the Northeast Conference opener at Wagner, 41-14. Cornell dropped to 0-2 after a pair of tough losses to Delaware (27-10) and Yale (30-24).

OPENING KICKOFF
• Sacred Heart will hit the road for the third straight game on Saturday for its second-ever trip to Cornell.
• The Pioneers are one of 14 remaining unbeaten teams in FCS.
• SHU leads all of FCS in pass efficiency defense (77.60), ranks No. 4 in passing yards allowed (128.7), No. 7 in yards/kick return (30.67), and eighth in scoring defense (11.3) and time of possession (33:59).
• SHU is seeking its first four-game winning streak and first 4-0 start since 2016.
• SHU is off to a 3-0 start for the fourth time in six years.
• SHU will look to start 3-0 on the road for the third time in six years.
• SHU is seeking its first four-game win streak on the road since 2014.
• SHU is 3-2 against the Ivy League in the Nofri era (since 2012).
STARTING OFF:
• Last time out at Wagner on Sept. 22, the Pioneers dominated on offense, defense and special teams and took down Wagner 41-14 in the team's NEC opener.
• SHU's defense has held its opponents under 300 yards of offense in each of the first three games.
• Mike Wilen (13), Salaam Horne (10) and Chris Agyemang (9) led the team in tackles, while Horne added an interception and Agyemang, Donalson and RJ Trimble Edwards each had sacks.
COLLECTING THE HARDWARE:
• SHU had two NEC weekly award winners for the second time this season on Sept. 24 when Kevin Duke (Offensive Player) and Naseim Brantley (Co-Rookie). Duke threw a career-high four TD passes and rushed for another, while Brantley caught three passes for 118 yards and two TDs in his collegiate debut.
FRESH FACES OUT WIDE:
• Several first-year players had breakout games at Wagner on Sept. 22.
• Naseim Brantley made his collegiate debut and made 3 receptions for 118 yards and two touchdowns, earning NEC co-Rookie of the Week honors.
• First-year Lucas Nunez took the opening kickoff back 94 yards, setting up SHU's first touchdown two plays later. He added two catches for 46 yards on offense
• First-year Troy Holland had a pair of catches for 68 yards and a touchdown, the first two receptions of his career.
BEWARE OF AGYEMANG:
• Junior defensive end Chris Agyemang ranks second in the nation in sacks per game (1.67), trailing only Penn's Cooper Gardner.
• Agyemang also ranks T-3rd in the nation with 2.5 tackles for a loss per game, tied with SFU's Da'Jon Lee.
DOING DOUBLE DUTY:
• Junior RJ Trimble-Edwards saw action on both offense and defense against Wagner, scoring a 3-yard touchdown as a receiver on offense in the second quarter, then later recording a sack on defense in the third quarter.
PICKING THEM OFF:
• With Salaam Horne's interception at Wagner, Sacred Heart has now had a pick in 47 of the last 58 games.
• Through Week 4, Sacred Heart and Bryant are the only NEC teams with four interceptions on defense.
DUKE-ING IT OUT
• Graduate quarterback Kevin Duke had a career night at Wagner on Sept. 22, throwing for a career-high four TDs, and added one more on the ground. He was 17-of-29 through the air for 322 yards with no INTs, and rushed for 45 yards.
