Box Score SMITHFIELD, R.I. - The Sacred Heart University women's volleyball defeated NEC-foe Bryant on the road in straight sets (25-20, 25-17, 25-22) Saturday evening. With the win, SHU improves to 8-10 on the season and 4-2 in NEC-play, while Bryant. falls to 10-13 on the season and 5-2 in the NEC.
Liisel Nelis led SHU with nine kills and added eight digs, while Sarah Ciszek added 28 assists and nine digs in the win. The Pioneers return to action Friday, Oct. 18, when SHU travels to take on NEC-foe Fairleigh Dickinson at 7 p.m.
