
14 Named NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Sacred Heart University softball team totaled 14 NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honorees for the 2018-19 academic year, the National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced on Wednesday. A total of 8,161 student-athletes received the honor this year which was a first in NFCA history.
"Congratulations to these talented and hard-working young women and they should be proud of their accomplishment," said head coach Pam London. "They have dedicated themselves to excelling in all aspects of their roles as student-athletes and we couldn't be more proud of them."
Jennie Boisvert, Cierra Casale, Katelyn Christian, Hailey Desrosiers, Hanna Errico, Marie Funes, Kylee Harvey, Addison Landry, Stephanie Mangiameli, Kristen McCann, Emily Orosco, Amy Petrovich, Brianna Santos and Lindsey Spitz were recognized for having GPA's of 3.5 or better last season.
