Box Score The Sacred Heart University women's volleyball team earned its eighth straight victory, sweeping Northeast Conference host, Saint Francis University 15-15, 15-13, 15-17. The victory improves the Pioneers to 14-10 overall and 9-2 in league play, while the Red Flash fall to 3-19 on the season and 3-8 in conference action.
Julia Murawinski paced the Pioneers with a match-best 10 kills. The Pioneers hit .265 on the night, with 41 kills against 14 errors, while holding the Red Flash to .100 hitting.
SHU returns to action tomorrow at 5:00 pm, at league frontrunner, Robert Morris.

- Palanchi notched a kill on the other side of the timeout to start a 4-0 Pioneers run that extended the lead to 20-14 and forced an SFU timeout
- An SFU error and a Jasmine Rogers ace made the run 6-0 as SHU scored nine of the last 10 points to pull away for the set win
Set 2: SHU 25 SFU, 13
- Julia Murawinski opened with a kill, and was followed by back-to-back kills from Liisel Nelis as the Pioneers jumped out to a 3-0 lead
- The Red Flash answered with a 3-1 run to get within one, 4-3
- A Murawinski kill snapped that run and opened a 9-3 run by the Pioneers to open a 13-6 lead
- Back-to-back SFU kills, followed by a SHU hitting error, brought the Red Flash back within four, 14-10
- Again, Murawinski answered with a kill, and had two more in the set ending, 11-3 run for the Pioneers
Set 3: SHU 25, SFU 17
- Nelis opened with a kill, before SFU rattled off three straight points
- A back-and-forth opening, that say seven-ties through the score of 8-8, where SFU then went on a 3-0 run to open an 11-8 advantage
- An SFU service error turned the tide, as a Murawinski kill was followed by a Sarah Ciszek ace as SHU scored six straight points, taking a 14-11 advantage
- Out of the timeout by the Red Flash, SHU scored three of four points, capped by a Nelis ace to move in front 16-12
- The Red Flash closed within three, the last time at 17-14
- Kills from Murawinski and Nelis made the lead five, 19-14, and SHU rolled to a 25-17 victory
