Men's Basketball Closes Out Non-Conference Schedule Hosting Lafayette Sunday

The Sacred Heart University men's basketball team closes out the non-conference portion of its schedule, and 2019, as it hosts Lafayette, Sunday at 2:00 pm. Both teams enter the contest with seven wins on the year, the Pioneers having won the last time out and the Leopards falling at Rutgers. Sunday's game will air on NECFrontRow with Randy Brochu and Joe DeSantis. Anthony Latina Basketball Campers receive $1 tickets for them and their siblings and receive a $5 voucher valid at the 2020 camp canteen.

The Series

The Pioneers and Lafayette are meeting for the 12th time with the Leopards leading the alltime series, 6-5. The Pioneers won 64-62 in Easton last season, the third straight win for SHU in the series. The Leopards lat won a game on December 12, 2015, at the Pitt Center, 90-86. The two teams met for the first time on November 15, 2019, an 81-70 Lafayette win.
