Equestrian Places 10th at Tournament of Champions

STATE COLLEGE, Pa.- The Sacred Heart University Equestrian team concluded its show at the Tournament of Champions hosted by Penn State University this afternoon. The team placed 10th overall with 18 points as SHU won the tie-breaker with Lake Erie College. SHU will return to action in the new year when the team competes at Silvermine Farm on Saturday February 15. Shows begin at 10:00 a.m.
Junior Brigitta Shepard highlighted the day for the Pioneers as she took second in intermediate flat while freshman freshman Hanna Lloyd placed third in open flat. Freshman Lilly Bove placed third in limit fences while fellow freshman Raegan Olson took fourth in limit flat.
