Box Score TEANECK, N.J. – The Sacred Heart University baseball team defeated Fairleigh Dickinson on the road, 12-5 Sunday afternoon. With the win, the Pioneers improve to 8-17 and 4-2 in the NEC, while Fairleigh Dickinson falls to 4-19-1 on the season and 2-4 in NEC-play.
John Cerrentani got the win after giving up one run on three hits and striking out five in 4.2 innings of relief work. Jake Frasca went 3-for-3 with two RBI's in the win, while Danny Glendon and Bobby Garbuio also drove in two runs apiece.

Sorrento then followed with an RBI single to give SHU a 9-4 lead

After FDU tallied a run in the fifth, SHU pushed a total of three runs in the sixth and seventh inning to increase its lead to 12-5
