Box Score NEW BRITAIN, Conn. – The Sacred Heart University baseball team picked up its sixth NEC win of the season after defeating Central Connecticut, 4-1 on the road Friday afternoon. With the win, the Pioneers improve to 12-19 on the year and 6-4 in the NEC, while CCSU falls to 12-12 and 4-4 in the NEC on the season.
Ryan LaMay got the start and got the win after giving up four hits and striking out five in 7.2 shutout innings of work. Anthony Porrino, Jake Frasca, Danny Glendon and Isiah Daubon each drove in a run apiece to lead the SHU offense.
