Men's Basketball Takes Win Streak To Western Pennsylvania

The Sacred Heart University men's basketball team returns to the road, for the first of three road games, when it travels to Loretto, Pa., to take on Saint Francis University. The Pioneers have won three straight and are 3-1 in league play, while the Red Flash have won four straight, and are 4-1 in NEC action. The game will air on NEC Front Row with Pat Farabaugh and Bernie Jubeck on the call.

The Pioneers and Red Flash 34th time, with the Red Flash leading the series, 19-14. The Pioneers won the teams last meeting, 94-84, in the regular season finale last season. That ended a five-game Red Flash win streak in the series. SFU has won 10 of the 12 last meetings between the two teams. SHU owns the longest series win streak, seven games, from 2005-05 through 2009-09.
