ORLANDO, FL.- The Sacred Heart University Men's Tennis team dropped it's final spring break match to Wayne State this afternoon by a final score of 4-3. The Pioneers will return to action on Friday, Mar. 13 when SHU faces NJIT at 4:00 p.m.
The Pioneers picked up three wins in singles play first from sophomore William Wibmer who defeated Max Rink in three sets 6-3, 4-6, 10-7 while fellow sophomore Ayman Khan defeated Dom Spicer 6-4, 5-7, 10-7 and Omar Abdo picked up the last singles win defeating Ryan Okonski 6-3, 6-1.
Wayne State swept doubles play to give the Warriors the 4-3 victory.
