FAIRFIELD, Conn. – With such a balanced offense, the Sacred Heart University women's volleyball team has several ways to defeat opponents. Friday against St. Francis Brooklyn it was Olivia Fairchild's turn to carry the offense in a 3-0 (25-19, 25-18, 25-14) Northeast Conference triumph.

Of Note:
The Pioneers' defense stymied the Terriers all night as the visitors were held to a .050 hitting percentage. SHU had a 46-36 advantage in digs with Emma Smallcomb and Dominique Felix each producing a baker's dozen.

The only drama came in set two as the Terriers got out to a 5-1 lead and withstood a Sacred Heart surge to trail by only 16-15. Fairchild notched two of her game-high 10 kills to ignite a 6-2 run that put the set out of reach.

Felix just missed a double-double as she added nine kills. Reghan Palanchi followed with seven winners. Setter Sarah Ciszek handed out 26 assists to go along with seven kills and five digs.
