Women claimed third; men finish in fifth

ST. ALBANS, Vt.— The Sacred Heart women's and men's cross country teams ran at the Vermont Fall Foliage Invitational on Saturday.

The women earned third-place led by Emily Bloom and Isabella Rogler. Both finished among the top 10 finishing at seventh and ninth respectively .

The men claimed fifth and were led by Gediyon Prince as he crossed the finish line at 33^rd with a time of 27:35.

The last time the Pioneers competed at the Fall Foliage was in 2019 when both teams finished in the same spots.

SHU will return to Stanley Quarter Park on October 22 for the Central Connecticut State Mini-Meet. Men race at 3:30 p.m. followed by the women at 4 p.m.
