The Pioneers started the match on fire and opened a 16-11 lead thanks to a pair of Bryant errors. The Bulldogs pulled within 20-17, but SHU went on a 4-0 run that included three BU hitting errors.
The turning point in the match came in the second set as Bryant opened an 18-13 lead. Two kills and two Sarah Ciszek aces cut the margin to 18-17 then Pioneers rattled off seven-straight points. Bryant contributed five hitting errors.
The visitors rallied late in set three to stay alive, but set four was all SHU. The Pioneers started the set on a 6-0 run then went up 12-4 on a Reghan Palanchi kill.
Three Pioneers reached double-digit kills, topped by Dominique Felix's match-high 14 winners. She added 13 digs for the double-double. Also recording a double-double was Jasmine Rogers with 10 kills and 17 digs.
Olivia Fairchild followed Felix with 12 kills. Ciszek handed 42 assists and Lilian Vargo had a career-high 22 digs.
