Rogers leads the way with a double-double.
HACKENSACK, NJ – A loss in the first set at Fairleigh Dickinson woke up the Sacred Heart University women's volleyball team as the Pioneers rolled from there. SHU bested the Knights, 3-1 (22-25, 25-20, 25-17, 25-23), on Saturday.

Sacred Heart's defense was the difference in the match as the Pioneers had a 78-63 advantage in digs. Five different players had double-digit kills, led by Dominique Felix's 16.
After dropping the opening frame, SHU took an 18-9 lead in set two by rattling off a 6-0 run that featured a pair of Jasmine Rogers' kills. FDU pulled within 19-17 in the third set before the Pioneers scored the last six points.
The Pioneers let a 23-20 lead slip in set four, but Olivia Fairchild and Rogers came through with kills to finish the match.
SHU's offense got better as the match wore on, hitting .286 in the final set. Reghan Palanchi hit .478 with 13 kills.
Rogers led the Pioneers with 15 kills and chipped in 14 digs for her eighth double-double of the season. Sarah Ciszek was two kills shy of a triple-double with 41 assists, 13 digs and eight kills.
