The first half of play would be all defense as both goalies faced little shot attempts at them as sophomore Elyssa Kipperman had to make just one save on three shots faced.
SHU was held to just one corner-kick in the opening half while the Rams were able to maintain possession in the attack zone as they attempted four corner-kicks.
First-year Maria Nolan and sophomore Michelle Clarkin took the two shots on goal for the Pioneers in the game.
A defensive standoff by both teams held the game in single-digit shots on goal for the 110 minutes played.
