SHU drops to 0-2, while the Red Storm opened their season with a win.
Junior Ayman Khan nearly forced a third set but lost the tiebreaker 7-3. First-year Matthew Nagel had a close first set, but lost 6-5, 6-2 at number six.
Sacred Heart hosts its first home game against Fordham March 7 at 5:30 p.m.
