WALTHAM, Mass.- It's a good day to be a Pioneer as the Sacred Heart University men's ice hockey team picked up their first win in almost a month and did it in style with a 4-0 shutout victory over Bentley.

Of Note:

Senior Josh Benson recorded his first shutout of the year and the sixth of his career tallying 31 saves.
The Pioneers continued their dominant penalty kill holding the Falcons to going 0-3 on the power-play.
For the fourth time this season the Pioneers scored first as junior Austin Magera nailed his second goal of the season off an assist by sophomore Braeden Tuck 4:46 into the first period.
The Pioneers scored three more goals in the game including a power-play goal by senior Marcel Godbout for his fourth of the year and his third power-play goal of the season.
Tuck tallied two assists in the game upping his season total to seven on the year.
