
Men's Ice Hockey Prevails Over Bentley With 4-0 Shutout Victory

WALTHAM, Mass.- It's a good day to be a Pioneer as the Sacred Heart University men's ice hockey team picked up their first win in almost a month and did it in style with a 4-0 shutout victory over Bentley.

- Senior Josh Benson recorded his first shutout of the year and the sixth of his career tallying 31 saves.
- The Pioneers continued their dominant penalty kill holding the Falcons to going 0-3 on the power-play.
- For the fourth time this season the Pioneers scored first as junior Austin Magera nailed his second goal of the season off an assist by sophomore Braeden Tuck 4:46 into the first period.
- The Pioneers scored three more goals in the game including a power-play goal by senior Marcel Godbout for his fourth of the year and his third power-play goal of the season.
- Tuck tallied two assists in the game upping his season total to seven on the year.
