Box Score FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Multiple-goal runs at the end of the first half and midway through the second was enough for Wagner College to get by the Sacred Heart University women's lacrosse team on Saturday. The Seahawks defeated the Pioneers, 18-12.

Sacred Heart had a good start to the game, grabbing a 5-2 lead at the 17:38 points thanks to Lydia Werlau's second goal of the half.
Kirsten Barnes scored midway through the half to give SHU a 6-4 lead, but it wouldn't score the rest of the frame and Wagner scored five straight for a 9-6 halftime advantage.
Emma Kittredge found the back of the net 12 minutes into the second half to reduce Wagner's lead to 11-9. However, the Seahawks scored four times in the next seven minutes to build a 15-9 lead it wouldn't relinquish.
Five different Pioneers had two or more goals, top by Grace Reinold with three. Werlau posted her fifth-straight multi-goal game with two scores.
Wagner had two players produced four goals with Madeline Seims leading the way. Megan Greco had four goals and four ground balls.
