STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.- Three Pioneers claimed first-place in events as the Sacred Heart University swimming and diving team fell to Wagner by a final score of 156-106 in the team's third meet of the season.
Highlights
- Sophomore Casey Barrett claimed first in two events for the Pioneers touching the wall first in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:00.51 and claimed first in the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:10.86.
- Junior Nicole Tingley also claimed first in two events with victories in the 50 freestyle with a time of 25.29 and in the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:00.79.
- Junior captain Emily Peter wraps up the event winners for the Pioneers as she took first in the 100 freestyle with a time of 55.09.

The Pioneers look to rebound from the loss on March 13 at Fairfield University. The meet is set to begin at 9:30 a.m. for diving and 12:00 p.m. for swimming.
